    window declarations for excel

My testing involves copying and pasting data from excel sheet to editor in application.
I could not capture window declarations for the menu bar of Microsoft Excel. As well as declarations for the open dialog box are coming false and incomplete.
    Can any one help me.
    Thanks
    Murali

    Re: window declarations for excel

Why don't you use the ODBC functions in SilkTest to get data directly from Excel files? There are examples posted on QA Forums that do exactly that. It will be much more efficient than going through the GUI.
