Silk does not recogonize Java Dialog Box.
I am trying to test a new app written in Java.I have included the Jar file in Classpath. It still does not record it nor the objects in that Dialog box, which are nothing but Combo box, Text box and Push button.
Re: Silk does not recogonize Java Dialog Box.
For Silk to be able to "see" the controls on your windows, you have to run your application using the java command and your .jar file. Silk cannot see the controls when you run an executable because there is nothing coming through the API for Silk to see. This is just the way it is with Java.
Your programmers are the best resource for the syntax of the actual DOS command line to start your application. Also, don't forget to put the proper SilkTest .jar file in the path as well. Instructions are in Silk's online Help (that's where I found them).
