silk extensions-whats the best number to set???

How do you decide whats the best level number to set it to?
At .5 i cant see the tables/columns but at 1.0 i see way to much crap. If i leave it at .5 will that cause me some trouble later on?

change the extension setting according to your need in the testcase , use

    BrowserPage.SetUserOption("ShowBorderlessTables",0 .5)

Re: silk extensions-whats the best number to set???

    By default the value is
    BrowserPage.SetUserOption("ShowBorderlessTables",0 .5)

for table to recognised u can change the value to .7 or .8 ,and try to reset it back ,else other objects may not recognised properly
have the code always in do...except
    do
    BrowserPage.SetUserOption("ShowBorderlessTables",0 .8)
    st..1
    st..2
    except
    BrowserPage.SetUserOption("ShowBorderlessTables",0 .5)

if any thing went wrong in do loop the except st showBorderlessTables value is reset else the outer statement will rest it back
    BrowserPage.SetUserOption("ShowBorderlessTables",0 .5)

Re: silk extensions-whats the best number to set??

The best number what you can set is 0.99 for the IE extensions which really do some wonders for the borderless tables.
In addition to that, Check the Virtual columns check box, and some other check box am not able to make out what exactly is that check box..
It worked fine for me. Hope it helps you out.

    Thanks Santhosh

You can set Borderless table recognition at runtime in that way you can use different setting on each page to give you the appropriate level for that page. Look at BrowserPage FlushCache() in the help as well.
