    Unix Commands

I am trying to test my application in Unix. Its an Exceed window and I'd like use the Unix commands. One of the simple commands is
"cd $APPBASE". And this is how I have recorded the testcase
    testcase Test1 () appstate none
    recording
    KiwiLs.SetActive ()
    KiwiLs.Click (1, 179, 5)
    KiwiLs.TypeKeys ("cd $")
    KiwiLs.PressKeys("<CapsLockOn>")
    KiwiLs.TypeKeys ("APPBASE")
    KiwiLs.ReleaseKeys("<CapsLockOff>")
    KiwiLs.TypeKeys ("<Enter>")

It works fine when I press CapsLockOn, however, if I press CapsLockOff, it doesn't work. Do I need to have some kind of extension enabler that allows me to use the simple 4TestLanguage.

I guess that you may be toggling the caps lock in the script (see 4 th line). Your recording has a lot of extraneous stuff. Try after editing as follows:
    KiwiLs.SetActive ()
    KiwiLs.Click (1, 179, 5)
    KiwiLs.TypeKeys ("cd $APPBASE<Enter>")

This type of command works for me with Exceed on NT (with Capslock off).

Also look into the NT's rsh utility to communicate with UNIX without a telnet session. I found it much more reliable.
