how much object oriented programming skills necessary for testing java objects?
In the course description for Segue's course entitled 'Testing Java Objects', the required skills section says the engineer should be able to read and write object oriented programming code. Is it sufficient for a non-programmer silktest user to study the basics of object oriented programming in order to benefit from this course? What would the experienced silktest users (programmers and non-programmers) recommend?
Re: how much object oriented programming skills necessary for testing java objects?
I have given this course a number of times and I would recommend that attendees have a good grasp of the 4Test language and understand object oriented techniques. One of the modules of the course deals with calling DLL functions from SilkTest.
