    DOM and VO

    Hi Folks,

    whate are the differences between DOM and VO in the silktest?.what they are?.what are the advantges of them in the silk test.i red the help files for the above same.I want additional info apart from the Silk test halp document.

    DOM is Document Object Level. This is the standard in which all Html is supposed to follow and can be accessed by Silktest.

    VO was prior to DOM. Mostly version 4 and 5 of IE. DOM is pretty much how things talk today.

    VO came out in 1996 when SilkTest first came out. DOM wasn't even gleam in anyone's eye at that point (publicly anyway). Once the DOM standard was set, the DOM extension emerged and as browsers started to comply with it it became the better extension and all development work on SilkTest became focused on it. Tags look a little different in VO than DOM and has more limitations than DOM.

    So DOM and VO are the standards for the HTML Objects.am i right?.DOM and Vo are browser based?.Please help me.
