PopupList Vs. ComboBox
I am having some issue with combo boxes. I am developing a .NET 2.0 app and I have some combo boxes on the form. One combo box allows manual entry and the other one does not.
SILK is declaring the one allowing manual entry as an swfcomboBox and the other as an swfPopupList.
Does anyone know anything about this?
P.S: I am using 8.0 but believe it acts the same in 7.6.
Re: PopupList Vs. ComboBox
What you have described is actually the difference between a PopupList and a ComboBox. A PopupList only allows you to select an item from the list while a ComboBox is a combination of a TextField and a PopupList (hence the name). It sounds to me like this is the correct behaviour, at least as far as SilkTest is concerned. If you are expecting to be able to do manual input into both fields it sounds like there is a bug in your app.
