Is there a way to store an encrypted password in an include file or database and decrypt it within a silktest script? Or do I have to use my passwords in plain text?
Use Encrypt()and Decrypt() functions.
Function are good, but anyone can use them Soon your password would be available to anyone.
Solution is the test accounts.
Any not obvious encryption of our passwords would suffice for our test environment.
Do you know of any built-in encrypt/decrypt functions in SilkTest (we use 8.0 at the moment), I cannot find one. Just want to know before I start programming my own functions.
As April_20 said Encrypt()and Decrypt() are used in SilkTest.
