We are dealing with a big windows declaration file (15000+ lines). This is all the products we are testing declared (English Versions)
What we want to do is use the same windows declarations file for our language builds, by giving each string its translated equivilant using the multitag statement.
Would this be difficult to achieve? I would appreciate anybody's thoughts / experience on this.
You know you've achieved perfection in design, not when you have nothing more to add, but when you have nothing more to take away
Most people create a global variable and assign the value of that variable based on the language they are running. So just use that global as the tag. It's a little easier maintenance wise.
Have you ever noticed? Anybody going slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster than you is a maniac.
