Let me first give you a background of what I'm trying to achieve. The AUT has a functionality of ftp'ing a file to a specified FTP server. I need to verify if the file has been uploaded to the FTP server using Silk Test.
It is my understanding that silk does not have any such feature to connect to a FTP server (correct me if I'm wrong). So I'm trying to write a batch file that will connect to the FTP and retrieve the directory listing.
If I try to redirect the content of an FTP server using the following syntax, it only creates an empty file with no content.
Please let me know if there is any command line utility or option to achieve this.
-v Suppresses display of remote server responses.
-n Suppresses auto-login upon initial connection.
-i Turns off interactive prompting during multiple file
-d Enables debugging.
-g Disables filename globbing (see GLOB command).
-s:filename Specifies a text file containing FTP commands; the
commands will automatically run after FTP starts.
-a Use any local interface when binding data connection.
-A login as anonymous.
-w:buffersize Overrides the default transfer buffer size of 4096.
host Specifies the host name or IP address of the remote
host to connect to.
- mget and mput commands take y/n/q for yes/no/quit.
- Use Control-C to abort commands.</pre><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">
