I am trying to start Silktest. It does open up and I just get a glimpse of the main IDE and then it closes down. I am unable therefore to start Silktest and work with it.
Everything was fine till yesterday. I have no idea what happened!
Does anybody have any similar experience? HELP!
Thanks, mark, for the reply.
I looked at it and did not find any reason or anything pointing to this.. I am suspicious of some "rights" issue, through.
Let's say that I was running a testcase remotely in SILK and had kept SILK IDE open. Now, if suddenly, my access to the folder is denied, can that affect? I say this because SILK tries to open the last used .opt and whatever else was on the window. Can this be a possibility?
Take a look at your partner.ini file. It's plain text. C:\Program Files\Segue\SilkTest. You can remove some (all?) of the files that it's opening when you open it with simple mods there, or, simply move/delete the files you suspect as troubleshooting option.
