I am a beginner and would like to know what is the syntax to use error handling in SilkTest. I am testing an application which involved Tree View. I am getting an exception which says "DOM was not found". Please help me out in performing error/exception handling for this exception.
</font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">code:</font><hr /><pre style="font-size:x-small; font-family: monospace;"> [ ] int b
[ ] b = 1/0
[ ] print ("Cant Catch"
[ ] print ("Caught!!"</pre><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">An excpetion is raised by "1/0" and its caught and ("Caught!!") is printed in the results file.
The following code gives a simple example for exception handling, its similar to try........catch as used in Java.
all the statements you place under do, and if any exceptions are raised, they are caught, and control is taken to statements placed under "except"...
Checkout help of SilkTest it might give a good idea...
I am still trying to find a solution on how to handle the exception which says "DOM was not found". Please help me out in performing error/exception handling for this exception.
I am testing an application which uses tree view. The tree is not getting recognized while executing the script. The exception DOM was not found is thrown and tree recognition is inconsistent. Please let me know if there is any solution for this.
