I want to shedule my testcase so that it automaticall run on target machine every morning, how I can do by using SilkTest.
Thanks & Regards
Create a batch file that calls the test you want to run, and then use Windows Scheduler or an equivalent to run the batch file at the set time every day.
I created batch file , and was using 'at' commad to run it , but it was not working.
Is there any facility available in Silk test.
Check the help for 'Command line'. It will tell you all you need to know about running Silk from the command line. call the command line from the batch file.
We have used SilkCentral and the Windows Scheduler for this and both work well. Windows scheduler is a little more work, but it doesn't cost anymore money. The SilkCentral one has more flexibility and reporting.
can any body tell me how to use SilkCentral for scheduling testcase i SilkTest.
I am guessing the explanation is in the manual. Have you looked there first?
Well !! All you need is to type "Schedule SilkTest" in google to know how to do this..
You get the below page http://www.automatedtesting.com/FAQs...scheduling.htm
I dont see you facing any problems once you go through the contents...
