I'm recording window declarations on an IE6 java application, and that goes well. I rename a few of the elements including the top level browser child, and a few of the HTML nested elements.
What I want to be able to then see the resulting objects when I record actions, however, only the original (default) name of the object appears. I have checked all of the include files for a duplicate declaration is there is none.
My questions are:
a) aren't you supposed to be able to record actions based on the new object you just modified?
b) What can I change to "trick" Silk Test into recognizing the window? The tag(s) for the previously recorded, changed declaration look the same as when I go back to re-record window declarations again.
