Enabling Extensions for .NET2
A couple of months ago one member posted the topic "New to.NET Questions". He was experiencing some issues loading the .net extension for his .NET2 application. At the end the solution to his problem was to get one file we was missing:msvcr70.dll. He didn't say what he did with the file.
I'm experiencing exactly the same problem. I looked at the Segue Knowledge Base and found a resolution that mentions the same file. The recommendation is to copy the file to the AUT main folder and set the extension .net manually, both internally and externally.
My question is what exactly means internally and externally.
Does it mean externally = Options\Entensions dialog?
And internally = Tools\Enable Extensions dialog?
I tried both and it just doesn't work. I'm not pulling any license from the server and my window declaration doesn't look right.
Thanks a lot for any help.
Re: Enabling Extensions for .NET2
Add "msvcr70.dll" to the system32 directory and that should work.
