So here i was executing a script to test for memory leaks when out of the blue silktest stops working.
By that i mean that when i try to execute a script, a blank file immediatley opens and an error pops up saying
"Unable to load c:\blahblah\memorytest.res".
No execution at all takes place.
Bewildered, i tried running the same testcase on another computer (a test pc) and got the same result.
Explanations or help please.
Dont force me to hit you with the motivational stick again.
nevermind, this was caused by me trying to run it on both machines at the same time.
Incedentally if you ever want silktest to crash this is how you do it
When execution of silk is started it actually opens ".res" file with non shared mode.
You can give diffent result path/name to another executing machine, the option is available on Silk menu Options->Runtime-> Directory/File(text box) on Results frame.
I've seen this happen when I had an exceptionally large .RES file. How I got the big .RES, I have no idea. Still, delete the .RES, re-run and you'll be fine.
