Automation: Silk Test: Execution in different machines
I have 100 test cases to validate my application. I have prepared script file and test plan for those test cases using Silk Test.
My requirement is:
Is it possible to execute these 100 test cases in 5 different machines parallely with control from any one of the five machines as:
Machine 1 executes -> 1 - 20 Test cases
Machine 2 executes -> 21- 40 Test Cases
Machine 3 executes -> 41- 60 Test Cases
Machine 4 executes -> 61- 80 Test Cases
Machine 5 executes -> 81- 100 Test Cases
Re: Automation: Silk Test: Execution in different machines
Well, basically, in your main () you should
1. Connect to a particular m/c with the Connect command
then execute the testcase from the main
You wil have as many spawn statements as the number of machines you wnat to run the testcases, and have the tests to run on each machine under each spawn.
The help under spawn shows an example with multitestcase. check it out
