In my application, there is a password textfield. The requirement here is, i need to check the password field whether it accepted '*' (astrisks) or not.
When i tried this with silk by using GetText method its returning me the actual password, but i need verify the password field should have exact number of '*'
Ex: If password is : test
then password field should have : ****
Please let me know who to solve this problem.
Thanks in advance,
Would have to do a bitmap compare

Hi Dear U can try this........
sName = "Borland"
Print (Len (sName))
How does that help?
btw, the term 'Dear' is a term of endearment usually between a man and a woman. At least it is in the western hemisphere.
I think Sandeep meant "Dean" and missed.
A concerned Borland customer, a fly in the ointment, a wrench in the works.
No. He's addressed a few people this way whose names aren't Dean. Look at his other posts.
Sandeep may also be a 'she'.
I think this is your question :but i need verify the password field should have exact number of '*'
so you can use 'len' to find out the exact numbers of *.
But if you want to verify that the character '*' will be there in the password field then separte thing is to be done.
Thanks for your reply. Here my requirement is to check whether the password textfield accepted '*' or not.
