Hi, this is a high priority for me. If anyone has seen this, I'd love to know what they did about it. I have just upgraded to Silk 7.5 on an NT (188.8.131.521) machine. When it executes the Explorer.invoke() command, IE (6.0.2) starts up, but then the Explorer.exists() command fails.
To be certain of this, I wrote a script with just the exists command in it and it fails. Browser.exists() also fails.
Next, I tried to use the Enable Extentions function to recognize the browser. The list of apps that showed up included the browser and I picked it. When I restarted the browser, however, the test failed.
This all worked fine on Silk 6.2.
Any and all advice would be appreciated.
It works for me (with SilkTest International 7.5).
I have my extensions on the NT4SP6 image with IE6 set to:
IE6 - IE DOM - (only the leftmost box checked, Java column)
If you upgraded the NT machine from an older version, you need to uninstall like mad:
1) Regular uninstall
2) Manually remove silktest from registry
3) delete qap*.dll from c:\windows\system32
4) delete captdll.dll from c:\windows\system32
5) then install new version
