Don't try to manipulate vmware from the outside. It won't work. You need to start an agent inside the image, enable networking, and then connect into it from Silktest GUI. From that point on it is the same as anything else sith silktest. You can have SilkTest invoke vmware, sleep until it is up and running, and then connect into it if you make an agent automatically start with the vm's boot process (Run key, start menu folder, etc).
