    Result indentation problem in QAP 4.6.2

    I frequently experience indentation problem in result file with QA Partner 4.6.2.The result file is like this ('=' represents space here because space is trimmed when posting to the forum):

    run.s result
    ==Script1.t result
    ====Case1() - pass
    ====Case2() - fail
    ====Script2.t result
    ======Case3() - pass
    ======Case4() - pass

    Has any one experienced this problem? I am using suite file run.s to drive two script file Script1.t and Script2.t, each of which may contain multiple test cases. Each test case is listed in the main() function of the script file.Thank you.

    Re: Result indentation problem in QAP 4.6.2

    I notice a lot of people sometimes adding extra indentations in their scripts without noticing them. Indentations have ther purposes of beging { and ends } in C. They are also for keeping your code clean.

    In your .t file, the testcases should be on the same indention level. If you start adding extra indentations and levels, you'll start noticing this weird behavior.

    Thanks you for your message. There is no extra spaces in either the .s or .t file. There might be some comments in the files. The problem appears intermittently.

    Are you sure you don't have a ResOpenList(<STRING>) without a corresponding ResCloseList()?
