1) Read about PopupList in Help. Use method GetContents() to get a LIST OF STRING. You'll have to compare the list to a 'known list' that you have saved or something like that. I would simply use regular logic along with LogWarning() and LogError() instead of messing with Verify().
2) This won't be easy with all dialog types. Netscape's dialogs, for instance, cause headaches. Otherwise, I think you can use StaticText members to define 'pointers' to the text you want to scrape off the dialog. For instance:
should print the text of the first instance of static text from the current dialog box into your results file. Read about multitag in Help and Use the recorder to capture a snapshot of the dialog you are working with.
