    Get the process running (hide)

    Hi !

I run an executable that create a process (no window for) and I would like to get the process number. The command GetAppId is for a specific window. I just want to get the number of the process. Is there a command for it ?

    Thank you !

pslist from www.sysinternals.com will give you what you want.
Have you ever noticed? Anybody going slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster than you is a maniac.

You can also use a simple vbs script to capture the pid of the process as you launch it:

    set WshShell = CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
    set oCalc = WshShell.Exec("calc")
    WScript.Echo oCalc.ProcessID

Just save that to something.vbs and run with SYS_EXECUTE("CScript something.vbs")

You can output vbs scripts from silktest (using file i/o) and use them with SYS_EXECUTE. You can easily capture the SYS_EXECUTE output (see Help).
