I am new to Automated and am evaluating Silk as a tool for my QA Dept. We have an ASP / VB web app. I am running into many problems trying to playback a simple recorded test case. It looks like many UI objects are not being recognized by Silk. I am trying to better define these elements manually, via the Windows Declarations dialog. However, my changes do not appear to be saving. I will find an object that fails and I pause the Windows Declarations dialog and attempt to use Caption rather than WindowsID and attempt to make the caption more unique, etc...but I don't seem to be able to save my changes at the Window Declarations dialog. I am also getting errors like "*** Error: Mouse coordinate (41,74) is outside of the window" when trying to enter data in pop-up dialogs, and the dialogs are getting defined as "CustomWin" by Silk. How do I create better definitions of these Custom Windows so that I can proceed scripting this test case? Thank you.
