    How to run same script on different target machines.

    Hello,
    This is prashant .( id is 200456@inf.com)
    I want to run the same scripts on various combinations of browsers and O.S. Can
    you write me regarding the configuration settings required to be done with Silk and
    agent.
    How to run only agent on target machine.
    Can we install only agent on target machine. If so what exact files are required for
    that. How to install it.
    Are there any settings required to be done on having it installed it.
    OR
    Whole Silk required to be installed on every target machine.
    What should be the Default Browser that time. Will it be different and dependant on
    respective target machine.
    Regards
    Prashant

    First read the Segue documentation installation notes, you will find the following information is contained there:-

    1) Install the Silk Agent
    Run the Silk Test install executable,
    e.g. SilkTest503.exe
    After two or three screens you will see a check box to select either "Silk Test" or "Silk Test Agent", finish the install.
    2) on each target agent machine, Run the Silk Agent (doubleclick on agent.exe)
    3) Right mouse click on the agent icon (menu appears)
    4) click on "network" menu item and enable either TCP/IP or Netbios
    ===========
    On host machine:
    a) install the Silk Host
    b) go to Options -> Run
    c) click on Network and Enable.
    ========================================
    OR
    Whole Silk required to be installed on every target machine.
    ============
    Not necessary.

    =====================
    Depends only on host, not on target machine.

    No. SilkTest does not use DCOM to talk to its agents.
