browser.invoke -> File not found
Please help before I take drastic action (reinstall windows):
Browser.Invoke recently started generating this error:
*** Error: Application cannot be started -- File not found
MainWin::Invoke is getting the correct sCmdLine from the registry, and the file does exist, and everything was working fine until recently when this problem suddenly started happening. Changing default browser doesn't help, the built-in Start cmd (in MainWin::Invoke()) just seems to have gone brain-dead... After wasting too much time not solving this (de- & re-installing various versions of Silk, using XP restore points, deleting & recreating registry keys, etc.) I'm guessing that something bad happened to my XP config and my best bet is to wipe my machine. Any clues?
Re: browser.invoke -> File not found
Never mind, found the answer in Borlund KB:
The solution is to ensure that :-
Options | Agent | Other | Enable comunications with SilkBean
is unchecked. This option is for connecting with a specified SilkBean server.
When SilkTest encounters this Agent Option it will immediately switch control to the
machine specified in JavaEX.INI and attempt to run the scripts on that machine.
