I am trying to branch my script based on a string returned from the page. The returned string contains something like -
Currently logged on as "administrator"
</font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">code:</font><hr /><pre style="font-size:x-small; font-family: monospace;"> [ ] currentuser=CEMain.TopMenu.txtCurrentUser.GetText( )
[ ] //Display Current user logged on confirmation
[-] if (currentuser == "Currently logged in as """+user+str(i)"""&q uot
[ ] Print("logged in as "+user+str(i))</pre><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">When I try to compare this with the expected value, I always end up getting a false back as the " " around the username is parsed out and not included in the expected value.
From the SILK help files -
To include a quotation mark as part of a string delimited by the same kind of quotation mark, "escape" it by typing two quotation marks in succession:
· "This string contains a double quotation mark " " ."
· "This string contains a single quotation mark '."
