AUT = Win XP, MS Outlook 2000 on a remote machine.
SilkTest = 6.5.1
I have a 2 line SilkTest script that hangs the remote machine completely. The mouse is locked up on the AUT. No access to other apps on the AUT machine. No "Start" menu. The machine will stay in this state overnight if I allow it. The SilkTest machine will not timeout either. The status dialog will remain with the TypeKeys call. The only thing that frees the remote machine is "Ctrl/Alt Del". This results in the SilkTest error "Script aborted by user". This TypeKeys call has worked in the past on this machine.
When have the Task Manager open at the same time, I will see "IN USE" appear next to the Sik Test agent application. It will always be "Running".
This is the code though it is not the problem as it runs on other machines:
</font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">code:</font><hr /><pre style="font-size:x-small; font-family: monospace;">
[-] testcase DeleteMe () appstate none
[ ] OutlookStartUp.SetActive ()
[ ] OutlookStartUp.TypeKeys("<F5>"
</pre><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">I've disabled virus scanning and firewalls. Is this a bug? Is there something I can do to get more info while it is in the hung state?
