    Moving mouse with button pressed?

    I've run into a rather odd problem. I've been asked to create a script to reproduce a problem incurred when a user does the following: (laying tags on a window)

    - Clicks & drags (but does not release the mouse button)
    - Types a keystroke (while laying a tag)
    - Releases the mouse button (finishes laying the tag)

    I've tried the following:
    w1.PressMouse(1, x1, y1)
    w1.MoveMouse(x2, y2)
    Agent.FlushEvents()
    w1.TypeKeys(key1)
    w1.ReleaseMouse()

    What appears to happen is that the initial click works fine, but the results of the drag do not appear until after the mouse is released (and the release location does not appear correct, either). Any ideas on how I can address this problem?

    Thanks in advance,

    Re: Moving mouse with button pressed?

    Try using the methods BeginDrag (), BeginDragAt (), EndDrag (), and EndDragAt () or the DragMouse () method. Discriptions of these methods are found in the online help.
