.Net still not recognizing CustomWins
I'm taking my first crack at a .Net app. We have the extension kit and I've enabled the .Net extension for the .exe as well as the Agent. That changed them from all CustomWins to a hand full of them being picked up as Swf classes. I've tried class mapping and recording classes for the other objects on the screen (Standard TextFields and ComboBoxes that Silk is not recognizing correctly) but it's still seeing them as CustomWins. Has anyone else ran into a similar problem?
Re: .Net still not recognizing CustomWins
I've had this problem. First off be sure that you've enabled the extension both within Silk and with Extension Enabler for the agent. Make sure this is working, because sometimes it turns off one or the other if you are playing with the frame.
You'll have the custom win problem if the developers are using something like DevExpress. I have had some luck mapping to known objects. It's just hit or miss though. You can record classes and sometimes use those to help figure out the types.
