Launching two browser sessions ??
Is is possible to write a script in silk to simulate the following scenario
1)launch explorer window - URL = www.hotmail.com
2)login to hotmail.com
3)launch a NEW explorer window (without closing the first one) - URL = www.hotmail.com
4)login to hotmail.com
5)click on compose button
6)logout and close the browser window.
7)Bring the focus back onto the first browser window
8)Logout of the first session
Basically my question is it possible to work on two seperate IE sessions in the same script to simulate a two user scenario
Tips or precautions required to execute this script will be appreciated.
Re: Launching two browser sessions ??
Does Hotmail allow you to login with different usernames on the same machine?
I am not sure.
If yes, then there are 2 objects Browser1 and Browser2 defined in extend\browser.inc
These 2 objects should serve your purpose.
However, you would have to be very careful while using this.
Browser1 would be the currently active browser window and the other would be Browser2. If you activate Browser2, it now becomes Browser2 and vice versa.
