I am working with the VB application. There the calendar at the window. The windows declaration does not recognize this dialog box. I want to select the date from the box, that will close the box as well. Seems that these Visual Basic component does not have a standard 4Test class that it maps to. It is also not possible to map this calendar component to any other standard class within SilkTest.
The only way to perform any actions on this component is to use coordinate clicking and mouse events.
Can someone give me an example how to use the coordinate clicking?
Keep in mind that the coordinates start in the upper left hand corner. You should be able to get the recorder to show you the coordinates. Keep in mind that the coordinates can relative to the window, the control, even to the parent program's window. That will probably be the trickiest part.
If it is a standard control then TAB, the arrows, and ENTER might be able to interact with the window. Look up Key Names and TypeKeys in Help for details.
