Set Active not working
I have a strange problem,
The Set Active code for a window does not activate the window and the window starts blinking in the task bar,If I manually activate the window then the script continues.
The same code works on another machine.
I feel it to be a windows setting problem .
Can some one guide on this.
Re: Set Active not working
My window is a JavaMainWin,
Silk test help gave the fiollowing tip, Could any 1 tell me how to configure this on Windows XP
SetActive, Minimize, and Restore methods don't work with SilkBean
The SilkBean does not support SetActive, Minimize, and Restore methods on JavaMainWin and JavaDialogBox windows because Java does not provide methods for clicking on window frames, clicking on the Minimize button, or restoring windows.
To port legacy scripts that call SetActive, you must set your target machine's window management resources to behave more like Windows controls.
For example, if you have the Common Desktop Environment (CDE), you can set up UNIX to activate windows when you click inside them, as described in the procedure below:
To enable click to activate windows using the UNIX Common Desktop Environment (CDE):
1 In your CDE dialog, select Style Manager.
2 Select Window. The Style Manager - Window dialog opens.
3 In the Window Behavior section, enable both of these options: Click in Window to Make Active and Raise Window When Made Active.
4 Click OK, and then follow the directions.
