Browser and multiple agent

Hi !

I'm back with Internet Explorer problem.

I have 4 Agents running on different machine. Some of them has IE 5 and some other has 6. IE is used only to generate license. I don't want to mind about IE version on each machine but when I need to generate license, I get some problem. Is there a way to do it ?!?

Thank you !

Re: Browser and multiple agent

Have you looked at SetBrowserType() and SetDefaultBrowserType(). I call both (first SetDefault... then SetBrowser) with params of BROWSERTYPE (like explorer6_DOM). You'll have to change to the correct one at the appropriate time so you'll need to know what browser is on a given machine.

I wrote this a while back when having troubles getting this work perfectly:

</font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">code:</font><hr /><pre style="font-size:x-small; font-family: monospace;">[+] STRING MySetBrowserType (BROWSERTYPE btNewType)
[ ] INTEGER tries = 0
[ ] HMACHINE target_machine
[ ] BROWSERTYPE btOldType
[-] while (TRUE)
[-] do
[ ] SetDefaultBrowserType ([BROWSERTYPE]btNewType)
[ ] SetBrowserType ([BROWSERTYPE]btNewType)
[ ] return &quot;PASS&quot;
[-] except
[ ] ExceptPrint ()
[ ] tries++
[-] if (tries &lt; 3)
[ ] Disconnect (IPAddress)
[ ] Sleep (5)
[ ] target_machine = Connect (IPAddress)
[ ] Agent.FlushEvents ()
[ ] Sleep (5)
[-] else
[ ] return &quot;FAIL&quot;
[ ]
[ ] </pre><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">
