    Multi Tags

    Why should MultiTags not be used?

    Isnt it one way where we can make the script dynamic by not just referencing with the Logical names. Somthing like $datasection,$contentsection etc can be obtained from Multitag.

    Re: Multi Tags

    Multitags should be used, but carefully. It's one reason I almost always overwrite Segue's default tagging scheme: it's stupid.

    For example, the default tagging scheme for HtmlLink objects is Caption, Index, and Window ID. Only 2 of those make a whole lot of sense: if you use the Index and 1 HtmlLink is added on the page before it, you're screwed if the script tries to use that.

    As such, I do something like this:

    </font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">code:</font><hr /><pre style="font-size:x-small; font-family: monospace;">
    [-] winclass NewLink : HtmlLink
    [ ] setting MultiTags = {TAG_CAPTION, TAG_WINDOW_ID}
    </pre><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">Of course, there's more in my "anchor" class than just that, but that's primary so that what I consider the right tags are used.
