Blat and NT and 98
When I try to use BLAT on a NT machine or a 98 machine, I keep getting an error:
Failed to open registry key for Blat.
it works on my XP and 2000 machines, but we are trying to expand our automation efforts on all windows platforms. Has anyone seen this before? or is blat only support on 2000 and XP.
thanks in advance.
Re: Blat and NT and 98
I think Blat is probably trying to read your server settings from the registry. Have you run Blat with the -install flag to put the SMTP server settings in the registry?
If you don't want to add the settings to the registry you can run Blat with the -server flag. Check out the Blat documentation for examples. Blat is Win32 compatible, so it works on Win95 and up.
