    war files?

    Hi to all!!

Is there anyway to extract a text file from a war file, modify it and then include back to the same war file?

    Thanks in advance

    Re: war files?

    Hi,

War files are like zip files but contains java code classess or java packages and it's created by java kits like JBuilder, eclipse, etc. In few words it's just a compressed format file as zip.

What I wanna make is to change one of the contents file of the war in a server directory but I think that won't be possible, will it?

    Kind regards,
    Torralba

WAR files are standard JAR files, in other words - ZIP files. use your favourite tool to zip/unzip them!

You can do, if you have command line options to extract and update files.
