I am having a problem declaring two distinct Windows that have the same Tags, but different objects. My old 16 bit QAP 4.0 Organizer book says to include a unique child in each tag, but this isn't working for me. It screws up the whole declaration and QAP doesn't recognize the window at all.
Read the SilkTest help for the "multitag" statement. There is some good info there. Our application has this same case in it and we need to make reference to not only the dialog title in the tag, but individual child objects to have SilkTtest tell them apart. SilkTest won't record the tag for you this way though, so you'll need to manually code it based on the examples given.
For example, if you have 2 dialogs each with a title of "Test Dialog", but one has an [OK] button and the other has a [Yes] button, you would define their tags as...
<font class="small">Code:</font><hr /><pre>
tag "[DialogBox]Test Dialog/[PushButton]OK/.."
tag "[DialogBox]Test Dialog/[PushButton]Yes/.."
