I tried to install SilkTest 7.0 on several lab PC's running Windows 2000 Server, and got this error.
Setup has experienced an error.
Please do the following
- Close any running programs
- Empty your temporary folder
- Check your internet connection (internet based setups)
Then try to run setup again
Error code: -6003
We have a support request into Segue but they've not encountered this issue before.
Has anyone else seen this error or have a suggested workaround? I already cleaned out my %TEMP% folder and closed running programs...

I found a fix - possibly the original install I tried was corrupt.
This cleared the issue:
1) delete this folder
C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Professional
2) Try the install again - it worked fine.
