Can SilkTest Handle Microsoft DirectInput Interface?
I am using SilkTest 184.108.40.206. I am currently testing an application which is similar to FreeHand or Illustrator. It requires user to digitize/draw features or object in a window. During the last software version, the application was using simple window messages to handle a system mouse. In this new version, Microsoft Directinput interface is used to handle a system mouse and this is where I am having problem with. SilkTest can no longer add, digitize or draw anything in an application window. It seems like SilkTest commands have no effect on the window.
When I start a drawline test case, SilkTest runs but noting happens in the application window. I am using 220.127.116.11. I wonder if this problem can be solved by updating SilkTest to a newer version.
Any idea or suggestion is appreciated.
