    Agent.Reset() ??

    And another (undocumented, unsupported or otherwise) to allow test suite control to force the Agent to reinitialize itself.

    Re: Agent.Reset() ??

    The Agent is reset between testcases when the testcases are invoked from a Plan file. Resetting it will also cause any global variables to be reset.

    Will this work for your needs?

    Re: Agent.Reset() ??

    Does this really only happen when a .T runs from a PLN, as opposed to a suite, .S file?

    Searching the SilkTest folders finds no instance of this call, so I'm assuming it's a builtin call, but I would think if it happens between every case it would be part of DefaultTestCaseExit.

    Reason I ask is that I've been working around a resource leak in this product for a long time, and this might help "plug" it (if the prob is that the call is never made because I don't use the organizer).

    This would be better than running from command line to insure agent.exe gets killed between scripts.

    ...a bit skeptical this will work as I think Segue would have had me try this already, but stay tuned.

    Re: Agent.Reset() ??

    I get a runtime error that Reset() is not defined for Agent. I am running 5.01 though as I found that 5.02 had too many issues. What is the syntax and is this for only 5.02 and up?

    many thanks.
