I want to select a document(file) in a folder and then rightclick on it to bring up the contextual menu. The coordinate of the document can change depend on the folder view so clicking with coordinate wont be a choice.
Any method any function??
Thanks in advance
Once the menu is up, use TypeKeys to work with it. <UP> <UP> <DOWN> <RIGHT> <ENTER>
You may need a default case, which assumes the menu pops upwards and an except clause which does the keystrokes for a downward extending menu.

Thanks for your answer that would have been my second question once the menu is up. But how to get the menu? How to right click on a selected document?
Use .GetItemRect() to determine the file location and then use PopupSelect(File.xPos, File.yPos,"menu item") to select the menu item.
