I wont to know as to what is Class Mapping & more imp were is it used & why?
Thanks in advance.
Re: Class Mapping
Well i use class mapping when i record declarations for an application when they use non standard controls and i need to use methods against them that are used for standard controls.
For Example. I have a VB application that i just recorded the declarations for. I notice that in the declarations it's seeing a ComboBox as a "CustomWin ThunderRT6Combo" instead of a regular ComboBox.
So to remedy this, when i go to record the declarations i hover over the window, press <Crtl-Alt>, and then select the item in the list. The "CustomWin ThunderRT6Combo" and i hit the ClassMap button, and a new window will open, in the bottom left is my custom class, in the bottom right drop-down, i select ComboBox, which is a standard class.
I have now Classmapped my custom object to a standard object, and i can use the standard methods against it.
Hope this helps.
