How to record command prompt commands(DOS commands at DOS prompt)
As part of my test automation, i've to create groups, users and asssign this users to groups.
I can do this in two ways......
One way is thru windows(right clik on MyComputer, select manage. Expand local groups and users tree, select group, right click select new group etc...
Second way is thru Commands and Command prompt.
I am prefering to use second method(commands). But silktest is identifying command prompt window as dialogbox and it is not recording any action like typing command and executing commands by clicking Enter button on key board.
Can any one suggest me..
Thanks in Advance

Re: How to record command prompt commands(DOS commands at DOS prompt)
Sys_Execute is useful for cmd window testing and by specifying a list of string argument, SilkTest can print out the output of this call.
[-] testcase Test1 () appstate none
[ ] list of string lsOutput
[ ] Sys_Execute ("time", lsOutput)
[ ] listprint (lsOutput)
