Basically i am looking for a way to launch a testsutie.s file on a remote machine. I have tried to spawn a testcase remotely, in which the testcase call's an SYS_Exectue () which pass the command line arguments that are suppose to start the testsuite (according to segue's technical support). The Suite start's and just hangs there no time elapses by.
Currently we have to phisically go to the machine and start the testsuite.s when we want to run a testsuite, which could be up to 5 testsuites on 5 different computers.
I've written a vb app to do this. A client/server app that will distribute tests across a set of defined machines. It detects when a machine is idle and then launches the next test in line. I could send it to you if you like. Just need to post your e-mail address.
Have you ever noticed? Anybody going slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster than you is a maniac.
I have done exactly i wrote a batch file which would launch the testsuite.s but the suite would never start the first testcase, just sit's there. Now when i do the same with a testscript.t file everything works cherry.
