    Silk not recognising IE

    Hi All,
I have a major problem, Silk Test is not recognizing my browser, I am using Silk 6.0.3.0 and IE 6.0. It used to work fine but suddenly it started recognizing browser as a dialogue box, I haven't changed any settings. If I right click Agent->Extensions->Details I see many entries for IExplorer.exe even if browser is closed.I think there should be only one entry there, is this the cause of the problem?
I tried rebooting the machine but it didn't help.
Any help in this regard would be wonderful.
    Thanks,
    Thanks,

    Hi Bugz,

Seems your extensions got unloaded somehow. Try enabling them again.

I would also make sure you close all programs that use IE (for example like chat and messenger or Outlook etc)

    Re: Silk not recognising IE

    Hi,
We are on Silk 6.0.0.1[5] & running IE 6.0.2
For sometime now we have been noticing this issue of IE being seen as Dialog box. We are trying to work around by closing & invoking IE few times.
But will appreciate if anyone has a better solution.
    Rgds,

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">Seeing it as a Dialogbox is almost certain evidence that the Extension are no longer enabled. A second check is to right click the Agent and look at Extensions/Details to see what's been loaded.

    Re: Silk not recognising IE

    Our extensions are enabled.
This is noticed occasionally when running a plan file...some testcases pass...then, 1-2 fail in between due to this error...few more pass after the errors. So, its kindof odd.
