    Re: SilkHelp Generator

There is a Silk Help Generator in the downloads page created by David Genrich. It is a library of record types and functions to generate a html help file off of function headers. It is a good start. I use it and have modified it to do what I want and works great.

    Hi RCYR,

I think you would need to enable browser extensions and use registry.inc.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Re: SilkHelp Generator

I just commented out the Browser invoking stuff. I don't test web pages. The help generator wants to invoke the help after generating it. Not necessary. You can do that manually.

    Re: SilkHelp Generator

It works fine on the files that were supplied with the project, but if you have your project written in Classic 4Test it dosn't work to good.

Going to need major refactoring, oh well it's a start.

    Re: SilkHelp Generator

Yeah, I found that out. Fortunately, we recently converted to Visual 4Test.

    Re: SilkHelp Generator

Our libraries that are coded in Classic 4Test use the AutoDuck tool to generate help files. They weren't html help but it still worked very well.

    Re: SilkHelp Generator

After enabling my browser extensions everything worked fine, but now when i run my testsuite the browser is being invoked and not the AUT. Seems like the browser is being overridden in the default base state, the with the AUT i have the recovery system enabled for it? Why would the browser be invoked when the testsuite, or testscripts have nothing to the browser.
