Record Window Locations - Why 3 values?
I am having trouble finding documentation to support how the Record Window Locations functionality works in Silk. I am working on performing some Click and Drag operations on a couple of screens in my Application and when I go to record the window locations, I see that there are three sets of locations. They are the screen/frame/client window. I guess what I am confused about is why are there three values when the mouse is in one location? I am assuming that the screen location is relative to the screen, but I am not sure what the frame and client locations refer to. Anyone have any insight?
I have screenshots and can forward them to someone if that would help.
Re: Record Window Locations - Why 3 values?
Screen: The location of your application relative to the entire Desktop.
Frame: The location within your application relative to its own upper-lefthand corner.
Client: The location of the upper lefthand corner of the primary work area within a window or dialog.
The easiest way to see these is to Start Notepad and open the File Open dialog. Move the Record/Location mouse cursor to the upper left corner of the desktop, the Notepad app' and the FileOpen Dialog to identify the zero-zero starting points.
