I have a check box in my GUI page and I am writing the script to check the box. But it says the error:
"Check box not enabled"
I tried the option of disabling Agent options (Verify that the windows are enabled), still the problem persists.
Is there some other settings that I need to do. Please let me know.
Thanks in Advance,
This could be because of following reasons, please check out which applies for your case:
a) The window on which the checkbox is present is not active. Resolution: Set it active.
b) Declaration for the window on which the checkbox is present is incorrect.
For this, check if the window in question is a child of some other window and the parent is declared correctly. Also check the tag for the window in question.
c) Checkbox is really not enabled and its checking property is read-only.
I don't think anything can be done about this.
I think b) is the one you are facing.
I've used the following with success in similar circumstance:
</font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">code:</font><hr /><pre style="font-size:x-small; font-family: monospace;">
[ ] use "msw32.inc"
[ ] INTEGER iHandle = Dialog.CheckBox.GetHandle()
[ ] SendMessage( iHandle, BM_SETCHECK, 1, 0) //check the checkbox</pre><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">
