I would like to prevent script writers from entering in invalid arguments when they use the functions that I've created. Is there some way to code in the values for valid arguments for a particular function?
For example a function in a frame file:
Then when the script writer types
fCheckBoolean(The autocomplete drops down a list with either TRUE or FALSE
the best you can do is handle acceptable variable values in your function and if what they passed is not valid, then print a list of valid options. I do this with menus on applications that use IE style menu systems(the ones that are not recognized in silk).
